Had a boa for twenty years. They eat rodents and birds, not lizards.

A Boa will eat just about anything. When i kept Vine Snakes that fed strictly on lizards i would always give my Boa's any left over lizards and they would take them without hesitation.

I am sure the comment wasn't made as a snide remark towards Pit Bulls. I, personally, wouldn't want to get bit by any medium/large breed dog - The breed of dog in question just happened to be a Pit Bull.

Me too, there is a big weight lifted off of my heart. I was so worried about him.
