    Bad shed

So my yearling BP just shed and everything went great except for a patch about 4 inches long starting from right behind her head. So basically her neck area seems to not have shed. I gave her a couple baths and still nothing. She is super head shy so she wont let me go near her head or neck at all. I fed her a rat pup and she ate it straight away. Should I be concerned at all? It doesn't seem to be slowing her down in any way.

She should get it off with her next shed. As long as she is eating and not acting stressed out I wouldn't worry about it

Or soak her for 20-25 mins and then wipe her off with a wet rag...that's what I have read around here. If not ,then what the poster above me said.

All you have to do is give it a spray of water, wait a few minutes and you should be able to work it off. Head shy or not, just hold her and work the stuff off. They're not as fragile as you think. And a yearling on rat pups? I'd consider a bump in feeder size...

Depends on how big the snake is. BP's are usually on small rats by a year old. Do you have a pic of her?

That pic doesn't show much. Do you have any of her whole body?
