Quick feeding question
So I've read about 1000 different pages/threads on feeding, and they all say different things.
I just fed Nagini, my female ball, and she took the food really well! Really quick feed, I was relieved because it was my first one! rather than using the "slightly thicker than her body rule" I used the 1/10th of her weight rule. She's 69 g and I was only able to buy pinkies at the pet store (they were under stocked and the guy said it was the only thing they had she would be able to eat. The pinkies weigh appx 3 g each so I fed her 2, which means she got 6 g to her 69 g. Should I give her another one, or should that be enough?
Please don't spout the "slightly thicker than her body" at me rule because I know it! Feeding by weight seems to make more sense to me, at least while shes this small because she's growing so fast.
The main reason I'm asking is she still looks like she's hunting and she keeps going back to the spot where I dropped the first two pinkies she ate and scenting it.
Oh I'm feeding F/T by the way so you don't gotta tell me why that is important either
Thanks for your help!!!

Quick feeding question
I'd try and give her another if she looks hungry and you offer it and she eats then yayy! But if she looks hungry and you offer and she doesn't accept it than oh well at least you tried. Hopefully it will hold her over until the store stocks up on the bigger feeders.

You should feed something slightly larger than her body...
Lucifer Sam, Siam cat...
Always sitting by your side,
Always by your side...
That cat's something I can't explain...

Thanks for the advice!! She has since calmed down and is resting on top of her warm hide (I think she likes it there better because the hide is kind of big for her but I covered it in leaves from the fake ivy I've got in there so she can hide somewhere "tighter"). Since I've never done a feed before I'm terrified of causing a regurg by making her move around when she wants to digest!!
I'm actually heading out for the night, should I try to give her another tomorrow? Or just wait until next week and try 3?
Thanks again for your help! I think I hit the point where I read "too much" and am now second guessing everything I do haha. Maybe I should just be happy I got a successful feed on the first try, especially considering I only got her a couple of days ago. I wasn't even sure she would eat, but I wanted to try because she was getting a little nippy yesterday and was just staring at the screen lid today haha.

That's how I do it. I don't weigh meals

Quick feeding question
I would offer her one tomorrow. She's so small that if she's not full she should eat the day afterward. Once you get the right size feeders when there in stock then I'd get her on a 5 day schedule of one appropriate sized feeder every 5 days. But you probably already knew that but just try and keep her happy with those pinkies.

I just offered her another and she didn't jump on it as quickly, but she just got it down. She doesn't "squeeze" them at all like I expected, she just grabs them and starts to swallow. Should I be worried about that? Maybe she's smart enough to know they are already dead! Also, she always grabs them from the side and tries to swallow them that way. Since she always gets it down I'm not worried, I just think its cute

And I'm so glad she's eating for you right off the bat!! My newest one didn't eat for me for a whole month! But once he got past that he hasn't missed a meal since he's a goofy goober though. Lol
