Pastels should retain the screaming bright yellow as an adult, if it doesn't have that to begin with, it never will.

Pastels are amazing at birth most of the time but they really brown out over time.. Mine was bright like the one pictured above and is actually DARKER than that now, except right after shed. I'd post a pic but I can't give him justice. he'd look like I sprayed spray paint in him. Still, pastels are a good morph and have given us so many combos over the years. And my favorite with are pewters.
