    He looks like a pastel desert to me!
    And green eyes are one of the features of the pastel gene. The pictures are too small to tell if there are caps, but they look alright to me.

    If you like him, then go ahead and get him. Male deserts can be bred, just not females.
    Personally, I would get him as a pretty display pet. I wouldn't use him as a breeder though because I'm personally not interested in working with the desert gene.
