no offense to the people who already replied to this post however that could EASILY be a Fire Pin .. I hatched 5 Fire Pins this season from the same father - a Fire Pin .. the first clutch had no Pinstripes only one snake that could be a Fire Pin or just a Pin .. I was really not sure about that one .. however in the later clutches i hatched Fire Pins and Pins and it was IMPOSSIBLE to NOT see the HUGE difference between them - the snake from the first clutch was Fire Pin .. what I have noticed though is that it is very hard to tell from pictures, when you post a single Fire Pin / Pin .. some Pin blood lines are very clean and light to start with - if you compare the snake from your picture to them you could say that he is just a Pin .. the easiest way to tell what this guy really is, is if you hatched a Pin in the same clutch - the difference is easily seen .. however if you have no snakes to compare this one to, then it is impossible to tell with 100% certanty if he carries the Fire gene .. you would have to wait for him to gain a few hundred grams and see if he gets lighter
based on my experience with Fire Pins though, I would say with 80% certainty that the snake on the picture is a Fire Pin .. but like I stated above, can't be 100% sure if you have nothing to compare him to![]()
