Re: My BPs skin is very loose. Need help
He may be dehydrated. A good soak could do him well. I just fill my tub up a bit for my beardie. It would work the same with your snake. Just give him a bit of time to relax in it, and watch him closely.

alright I gave him a good soak and he hopefully will get a good shed in a couple of days. He doesn't have loose skin anymore which is good. So, I'll be only checking up on him till he sheds. His feeding day is Sunday. Should I try and feed him?

My girl eats during her shed, so you can definitely try.
Some eat, some don't. If he doesn't take it, just wait til his next scheduled feeding time.

Mine seems to love to eat. I put f/t hopper in his feeding bin and not even 5 seconds he grabs it. I'm going to a reptile expo in New Jersey. So, I'm gonna pick up a water bowl because the humidity during the day is kinda low because of the water bowl being on the night light.

They sell cheap plastic bowls in the pet section at Wal Mart here. I think they're only $2-3.

That's not bad.
Are you turning the lamp off at night? As in a temp drop?

The entire tank? Do you have an under tank heater as well?
Ball pythons don't need a night temp drop.

No I don't. I put the thermometer in the middle so it should be how the entire tank is. The temperature seems to be very well for him because I have had him for a month now and he hasn't missed a feeding yet.
