Male BP more active after purchase of female?

Just got a female that lives above him in the top drawer and I have noticed he is more active recently laying on top of his cool side hide or laying with his head peaking out of either hides, is this normal?

Maybe he wants to get it on, ;-)

If he's a new arrival he should be in quarantine!
