That is kinda what I was thinking too. The main reason for my question is because I have 1 female that is so picky and stubborn that she will refuse to eat if she is not on aspen bedding. I switched to newspaper for awhile a few months ago and she absolutely refused to eat for months. As soon as I put her back on aspen she started eating the next day.
