The parts of Africa where come from has very high humidity year round, much higher than most people keep their cages.
This graph shows the average high and low % humidity for the region:
As you can see the humidity stays above 60% most of the year, and can get into the mid 90%'s most days as well.
The only things you need to be worried about is condensation and mold.I t wouldn't hurt to try and lower your humidity some. Have you recently changed out your substrate?
