    Feeding opinions

I just want to check up and change, if need be, my current feeding methods to make sure my scaly children are fed right.
In your experience, what would you be feeding 885 gram and a 501 gram female ball pythons?

Honestly, are you feeding your snakes a proper meal? I mean something about the same size girth of the snake? If so then you're fine.

Yeah, they def don't seem out of shape, but I'm just worried they aren't as big as they should be for their age. Maybe it's just my inexperience poking through...
The bigger one is on medium rats, isn't fat or thin, and measures about 3 ft. I've had her since May last year, and I'm assuming she's a '12.
The smaller one must either be a late '12 or early '13 and measures approx. 31 inches. She is barely chubby at the most but is also fine. She feeds on small rats.
I feel best double checking with the community to make sure I get the best growth results possible.

At that size I feed small rats (around 4 weeks old) one a week.
