That's good, get a pair and breed them so I can get a baby from you for a very good price since I turned you onto that species . I'm glad I could help though.

Yea, that snake just reminds you of metal. I wouldn't of named the morph Calico personally. I would of named it Hellraiser, but that's just me. The first thing I thought about when I seen the snake was:

Wait, the browns are normal then? I thought the reds were. Wow, still got a lot of researching then, lol. Yea save your money so I can get one down the road, or hey go take out a loan and get started early

I'm talking about the base locality, Dominican Red Mountain Boa's. I don't think they'll be selling anything calico related for a while They JUST introduced the locality back in '09 at Daytona. So this species is brand-spankin new to the hobby

The browns and reds are both "Normal", it's just line breeding. He even said he had a brown turn red after a while.

The reds are more sought after and visually stunning, plus higher chance of producing reds. This is all just my take on it from the very little research I've done in the past 10 minutes lol Must email Tom

Edit: Actually, I'm probably wrong on that...I doubt there would be THAT huge a price difference if you could make reds with the browns or something
