That's what I thought. It reminds me of a high-white calico BRB. But I guess we were both wrong.....

Alright, alright I'll spit it out.

It's a Dominican Red Mountain Boa

Here are some pics of a normal, which do kinda remind me of a BRB in color because of the irra-however-you-spell-it-descence .

The morph that you've seen was a Calico.

Believe it or not they have a pair on kingsnake right now for like $1900 shipped or something. It was a pair purchased from Tom Crutchfield. So with that in mind I'm sure you can get babies from him for quite a bit cheaper.

I'm reading up on them now. You sir, have just given me the answer to my ongoing "What boa species do I want to get" question. My god. They are amazing! They are like BRBs (which I love) but without the craptastic version of calico, and instead, have a freaking INSANE version. Win freaking win

    Re: Sickest Looking Snake Ever

This is awesome Neal thanks for the share I made it to the topic late. It looks like it got sucked under a push mower and lightly hit by a blade and the person heard the donk from the push mower. Stopped it, pulled the snake out and nursed it back to health. If I owned this snake I would give it a cool name like Slipknot.

$1975/pair from tom. Hatchling price. Must...start...saving...money. Like, NOW.

Edit: That price for the reds, he's got brown's listed at $195 per. LOL quite the difference in price there!
