I have my baby bci on 2 hoppers every other week and one every other week. my female dums just got to the larger size of small rats. 70-85g and I moved her to a 10 day. she is about a year old and around 680 grams.

this is how I do all of my boas.

1st shed until 1 year: every 7 days
1 year to 2 years: every 10 days
2+ years old: every 14 days
breeder females get every 10 days for the duration of the pregnancy and for all of the mating season if they eat.
breeder males will also go on a 10 day schedule if they loose weight during mating
some of my animals just seem to gain weight even on a 14 day schedule and those I will feed 14th day then wait 21 days and feed and rotate like that.

honestly you shouldnt need to give a baby 2 prey items. 1 item just large enough to barely leave a slight lump. Really you dont want to see a lump at all but a slight one would be ok.

I had a BCI that I had until recently. I had her from something like 12 inches until she was 6 1/2 feet. Never had any issues. While Evenstar may keep more boas then I do, the main issue with a boa is that you don't want them to grow too fast. Some refer to this as power feeding, which I'm sure you know. For the first year feed her 7-10 days. Then after the first year you stick to 10 days and after another year or two you can go for 10-14.

I would feed weekly for the first year then I'd go to a 10 day cycle on year two. After that I would still feed every 10 days but I would skip every 5th meal, that way they can clean their system out.

All this is pretty darn accurate! H.o.F.R.'s schedule and Neal's schedule above are what I do. Just as a rough idea. The individual snake will dictate too, to a certain extent. I have one baby that is about 8 months old that I feed only every 2 weeks. She is more sensitive and seems to do better with a slower feeding schedule. And I have several 2011's - most of which are on a 2 week schedule, but one that is on the small side so I feed her ever 10 days (not to encourage growth or to powerfeed or any such nonsense. Her prey size is quite small and she just seems to do better being fed a little more frequently).
