I've never had one get dumped. The key is to keep them full so the weight of the water keep them stationary.

Re: Water Bowls for Racks.
You can find the same type of heavy plastic crock bowls in the pet section of WalMart. They're pretty cheap. I use the large size, which is 8" wide in my 41qt sterilite rack. There isn't enough vertical space in the tub for the bowl to actually flip over, but my snake does like to get in it and displace most of the water so I keep them about half full.

Re: Water Bowls for Racks.
You can also use 4" diameter PVC pipe from Lowes and cut to desired height. Then use all natural rubber caulk and "glue" them down. Let them dry overnight and then they are ready to use. Then we put in 16 ounce deli cups for the water and just replace weekly. Works great. Hope this helps.

Re: Water Bowls for Racks.
I just started using the melamine pet bowls from dollar tree. They don't hold a ton of water, but they're wider at the bottom than the top so the snakes don't dump them. Also, at $1 apiece the price is right.
