Hatchlings are not pooing
Hi guys, I'm getting worry about my 5 babies, 7 in total actually. They are about 5 weeks old, been feeding on 3 mouse each so far. Problem is only 2 poo ed so far, the other 5 didn't. When I ran my finger down their body, I could feel the poo but is some how semi hard.
Now I'm soaking all 5 of them, is it normal or is there any that I should look into, all are healthy and ready to eat anytime.

What are your temps? I find that constipation is usually due to either temperatures being too low.

Do you know what the temps are in the tubs though?
Depending on the amount of holes in the tubs, it may actually be quite a bit cooler. When I first setup my BP room I set the room's temperature to 85 degrees, which is what I wanted the tubs ambient temps to be since I don't use hot spots. After a week I noticed that the tubs were actually only around 78 degrees! Weird, but true. I added more, and larger holes ito the tubs and now the tubs are the correct temperature.
So I'd check your tub temps to make sure they're 85ish degrees. Also, if they are indeed 88-90 degrees ambient t- thats way to high. Lower it a bit.
In the meantime, I'd just stop feeding those snakes that have not passed any waste so that you dont mame the problem worse. I also wouldn't both bathing them, thats not going to make any difference. Just keep thier temps and humidity correct, make sure they have fresh waster, and wait.
