They aren't "flirting" and snakes don't "cuddle" with eachother. One is trying to show dominance over the other and get the best spot. You need to house them in seperate enclosures. And telling Sex by looking at their tails your going to be wrong 98% of the time and the other 2% is just dumb luck. While that usually works with corns it does not apply here I've had both male and females with both long and short stubby tails. Read up on the care sheets and how to care for your snakes. Especially before you try and breed them. You need to learn the right way to care for them and I dare to ask how would you care for eggs when you are not sure about general information regarding the actual snakes?

You're generally correct of course, but it would be incredibly dumb luck to be wrong 98% of the time when you've got a 50/50 shot of being right, haha.

Haha you get the point. And what do they say? When there are two choices It's 50/50 but 90% of the time people choose wrong.

You don't need to be trying to breed if you have no idea what your doing. Do you have an incubator? A reliable thermostat for that Incubator? Do you know what goes Into Incubating eggs? Do you know the cycles that go into even getting eggs? Just because they lock up doesn't mean anything eggs just don't pop out a week later.
