Not that this helps much now, but there was literally just the NARBC in Arlington last weekend...

Big Cheese Rodents is in Texas so I can guarantee you that you can probably get a bulk order for $50 and under, and I'm talking about something that will last you 6 months at least.

    http://www.bigcheeserodents.com/

Go there and give him a call. I'm sure shipping will be super cheap as well. He's probably about 30 mins or less from you so you can see about picking up from him that way you don't even have to pay for shipping.

    EDIT:

    Live Orders

Live orders may be picked up at our facilities located in Texas. We do have a $25.00 minimum order amount for facility pick-ups. We do have additional restrictions for this service, please contact our sales office for further information.

Sorry, we do not ship live rodents.

If you can pickup live then you should be able to pick up frozen. So say you can get a 6 month supply for probably around $30 or so if I had to guess. This is who I order from all the time because he's the best pricing that I've found.

That's awesome and you'll get a hell of a better deal then $11 for one rat. You can probably get quite a few for $30, probably enough to last you a few months if you're using Medium Rats.

I'm just glad I was able to help you. Call him first thing tomorrow as I think he's closed for the rest of the day.
