Re: Mystic x Cinnamon Pewter Clutch Results

You need to familiarize yourself with the mystic gene then. The only ones even possibly in question would be the pewters. And even they have a strong mystic look. The other animals no doubt are all mystic.

If you look at the Pastel Mystics, you can clearly see the influence of the Mystic gene by looking at the alien heads, many of the alien heads have retained the large single eye typical of the Mystic pattern. With the Cinnamon Mystic, the Mystic gene has both changed the color and joined/smeared many of the alien heads together. The question is whether or not 1 or both of the Pewters are Pewter Mystics. They both have a lot of bushing and some joined/smeared alien heads, but do they have enough to say that the Mystic gene is there? That why I'm hoping some more experienced breeders will comment.

I keep coming back to these. If you look at a lot of the examples online like wobp etc you can see on mystic pewters the pattern definitely stops about half way down the snake and it's just white on the bottom half of the snake. The pictures of the second one its easy to see from the angle the pics of the first one male it tougher to tell from the angle

Re: Mystic x Cinnamon Pewter Clutch Results

Sobolco & Myself produced the first ever Mystic pewter, I don't see any Mystic Pewters in this clutch... We also produced some wicked cinnamon mystics, Which i may see one but it's iffy

These pictures however are very hard to tell anything by, I would suggest going outside with the hatchlings & snapping some pictures rather then taking them in a dark room

Sobolco is VERY Familiar with the mystic gene & what it does & should look like as he has been working with it for years, and has discussed the mystic gene with the breeder who first produced them.

Looks like you may have one Pastel mystic & a Pastel...

Who knows you could have a different line of Mystic maybe, Could be different factors playing here but those pictures are 100% very hard to tell by

Just putting out my honest opinion here because Chris asked me to help,

    Our pewter mystic,

    Our Cinnamon Mystic,

    And A Pastel Mystic,

Re: Mystic x Cinnamon Pewter Clutch Results

Sobolco and Teri, thank you guys for posting pictures of some amazing animals. As I said in my email to Teri this morning, I think pictures in sunlight or a light box with some 6500 K lightbulbs will really show the animals better. I appreciate you guys taking the time to respond to this thread. It may take me a little while to get some better pictures, my weeks are very busy, so I try to get pictures on the weekends, however we have been having lots of rain and thunderstorms, making it hard to get the pictures, and I'm getting married at the end of August, so there has been lots to do with arrangements for that. I'll try my best to get better pictures just as soon as I can and post them along with what it is that makes me think that I hatched 2 Pastel Mystics and a Cinnamon Mystic. I would not be surprised if the other 2 are only Pewters, but there are some characteristics that makeme wonder if they might be Pewter Mystics and I will do my best to try to capture those characteristics. Thanks again for your comments and pictures.

take your time, get a bunch of meals into them and a couple sheds, they will become very electric if they are Mystics.

    then take pictures !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
