What are you seeing if you don't mind sharing? I didnt notice anything besides the crazy patterns. I did notice my little mojave from the bad clutch seems to have under sized eyes. I'm thinking it wouldn't be an issue with a nocturnal animal though. Hoping they all turn into little piggies when I begin feeding

The bee's face in particular looks off to me, and maybe the pastel. I could be wrong, but the pictures are hard to tell. The mojave definitely has small eyes/different face probably from incubation issues. If they are bator issues it's not a problem because you don't have to worry about it being passed on through breeding.

The likelihood of having an entire clutch of paradoxes is pretty out there and if you already know you had incubation issues, then that's probably why they look like that. I'm not trying to rain on anyone's parade, but I really think it's from bator issues. We would have a lot more paradoxes if you could make them via bator fluctuations. Or maybe it is a mix of paradox animals and incubation issues because I would call the lesserbees paradox. Also, keep in mind temp spikes do different things at different times throughout incubation. I'm just saying, I highly doubt it's genetic, it's more than likely because of incubation fluctuations whether temps or humidity.

A paradox is an animal that shows both the mutant trait and some normal pattern as well. Something a geneticist would probably call a Chimera or a Mosaic

I believe if it was due to incubation issues, it technically wouldn't be a chimera. Maybe a geneticist can weigh in on this.

Yeah, definitely not something I'd want to attempt intentionally. Looks like you got some interesting results from it, but not worth the risk to actually attempt this type of stuff with temp fluxes.

Yes I highly doubt anything going on I'd genetic. I'll be pairing the same male and female next season just to see what happens. The bee and pastel are definitely pretty crazy but the lesser bee has more of a paradox look with dark spots. I don't think paradoxing has been proven to be genetic has it?
