I think I am getting better at taking snake pics...maybe lol

Ive learned that overcast days are better for snake pictures. And Ive learned that the gravel on my driveway is an awesome, neutral background. And I figured out what manual focus and zoom do on my wife's camera lol. So I thought my friends over here in ball python land would like to see some decent pics of our snakes! Hope I was right. Here they are.

    Males up first
    1500g Spider male

    800g Pastel HRA het hypo

    400g Pied

    400g Pewter

    350g Calico

    And now for the ladies
    1500g Butter het hypo

    850g Cinnamon

    1600g Pastel

    500g Yellow Belly

    750g Bumblebee

These aren't all of the snakes we have. These were the BP morphs we currently have. Thanks for looking.

Very pretty snakes! I think that last pic is my favorite. The blurred out driveway and perspective make the snake pop. I would suggest you find a more contrasty background for your snakes. With the gravel it doesn't make their colors pop and the texture of the gravel being in focus doesn't keep my eye on the snake. I'm into photography so I hope you don't mind my suggestion. Just trying to help.

What about on tile pieces, wood deck, grass, hanging out of decorative bowls, etc.

I love the funky patters on your YB and pastel, especially that pastel. So cool. Looks like someone was playing with watercolor when designing his pattern.

I'm always down for suggestions. Thanks for the tip! My biggest struggle (and prolly everyone's as well) is getting the snakes to simmer down. Lol. Always trying to slither around and never staying still. Don't they know I'm trying to make them pretty? Lol
