Don't know where he came from. He was someones pet and when they didn't want him anymore they gave him to a pet store and that's where we found him.

I have a pastel lesser male and a lesser female. The pin was used to breed a pastel this year and as a back up this year but did not bred the lesser female.

    Full stripe pinstripes

Is it me, or does the sire look a little lemonblast-y?

What gene in the BEL complex looks like pinstripe...?

Sire is definitely not a lemonblast.

There have been times before when a full stripe pin throws similar looking babies. It's not an extra gene or anything. Its not a fluke. Pin is one of the most common morphs out there so of course there are gunna be plenty without full stripes. I'm not trying to be a party pooper but you guys are making mountains out of molehills here lol.

    OP- nice pins, congrats!

Hey, I didn't say he was a lemonblast, just lemonblast-y lol. Especially with this pic, although I know it's due to the flash :/ Either way, he's a nice lil pin.

The colors in that pics are way off because of the lighting and flash or something. Compared to the outdoor pic he looks way lighter

I agree tho, hes a nice pin. I really like how the neck pattern goes right up onto his head

Thats not what i wanted to imply, i just asked because BEL genes, in combination with pinstripe, increase the color contrast between the dorsal stripe and the sides. like in jigsaws.

and these babies not only have that nice complete stripe, but also the color contrast between the dorsal and the sides is really strong. So i just asked to make sure, the color contrast can be archieved by adding a BEL gene to pinstripe and i wanted to know that this isnt the case here.

    @OP:
Anyway, these hatchlings are nice and worth a lot more than an average single-gene pinstripe, because this is exactly what people are looking for when they want the very best example of the morph.

also i would seriously consider making nice group pictures of these hatchlings after 1st shed and contributing the pictures to WOBP, with a watermark leading to your website. When i look at the pictures of single-gene pinstripes they have right now, its clear that these would be the most beautiful examples of the morph on the website by a large margin. So, more customers for you, and nice new pics for WOBP of some pinstripes that REALLY deserve to be featured there. Looks like a clear win-win.

    Full stripe pinstripes

That contrast is bc they haven't shed yet. Look at dad, he doesn't have the contrast.

They're nice pins but they aren't worth "way more than the average pin". I'm not sure where you're getting the idea that they'd be worth way more

    Re: Full stripe pinstripes

i got that idea from the fact that many people here say when they go shopping they look for the VERY BEST example of the morph and price comes second.

Based on that, i think that when YOU are the one that has the VERY BEST example of the morph available, you have chances of attracting these customers for which searching and finding the very best example comes first, and can make a price according to the realization that for these, price has lower priority.

People post pictures of snakes all the time, but that you get responses of people clearly stating that they want one, not from anywhere but that they want to buy it from you specifically, from your line, is quite rare.

But you really got me curious when it comes to contrst going down after 1st shed Now i really want to see pictures of these after 1st shed (i think even if contrast goes down after 1st shed, they will still be amazing compared to the pinstripes you usually see).
