    Looking for a feeder suggestion

I just picked up some breeding stock mice and rats. Just a small colonie each to see if I can reduce costs a bit. I have read you do not want to give them a food hopper or dish that they can crawl on so they dont poop on their food. Well I am keeping them in old aquariums for now and have not come up with a solution to prevent this. Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts on this? Or is anyone of the opinion that just a food dish is ok?

Re: Looking for a feeder suggestion

I built little food hoppers that fit on the side of the aquarium to hold the food. I haven't had any issues with them messing up the food.

If you feed in a dish they will waste a lot of food the best solution is this http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...-detailed-pics!!!

    Looking for a feeder suggestion

put the food in a wire screen so they can access it through the holes but not get it anywhere in the tank
