Is Loud Bass Effecting BPs?
So my roomates room is directly under mine and he likes to play extremely loud electronic music with heavy bass. Its loud enough that I can feel the vibrations on the floor. Is this effecting my bps? There on a wooden desk in glass cages.

I'd guess it would probably stress them out if the sound/vibrations carry through the medians. Watch for change in behavior

Snakes can sense the vibration so this could potentially stress them out. The best thing to nip this in the butt is phone the police or complain to the land lord about the people disturbing the peace. I normally try to talk to people about certain things but common sense would tell those idiots that they're music is too loud, so that clearly shows they don't care so I wouldn't bother trying to talk.

Interesting article on snake hearing

and

It is certain your snake hears the sound. Likely both from the surface and a through the air, the question is how much effect does this have? Is your snake eating well? That is the hard one to answer. I agree it sounds like a disruption and I'd take action. Your home no matter what it is, is yours. You should have to listen to music of others there is no need for it to be that loud.

If you don't mind the bass but feel it's affecting your snake's stress levels and all, you could place a sheet of fiberglass insulation under the tank. It should help reduce the vibrations. Thicker the better if the vibrations are really bad.

Also the reason I said just report it to the land lord or call the cops is because if you talk to them first and chances are they're pricks from the sound of it then once you do take other steps they'll know it was you. This can result in on-going arguments or them doing little stuff like egging your car or harassing you to who knows what.
When I lived in a apartment complex I had a guy who would always blare his music and it seemed like whenever I was trying to sleep. I asked him once and he complied for about a week then it started up again. The next time we got into an actual fist fight which ended with one of the neighbors calling the cops. Well he busted the windshield in my truck, so I poured sugar down his gas tank. This nearly led to another fight until he was evicted because of other complaints I guess.

Thanks for the help I love this forum
crepers86- this is the exact thing im going through now, we literally fight everyday over it, etheir way its just annoying.
Its getting to the point that im ready to pay the early termination fee (we have 6 months left) and move somwhere else. Also we were supposed to switch rooms after 6 months(donwstairs is the master). Do you think if im below him it will make a difference? Or should i try moving my BPs to the living room. I really dont want to get anyone else involved but if it dosent stop soon its gonna ruin a 13 yr friendship

And Ill try the fiberglass insulation under the tank, for a while I didnt mind it but its just getting to the point where it happens everytime we're both home. I dont even want to think about how loud it gets when im not home. I myself play guitar and am learning how to produce music but i make sure its not loud or i go in a different room. My pastel has been eating fine and I just got my new girl(butterbee) in yesterday so I havent tryed feeding her yet
