    Re: Poor Shadow :(

Shadow ran to my bed right when we got home and hasn't moved it yet, so I've just been sitting here with him for the last 24 hours. I just brought out Tiffany to keep my company and she beelined to him. She flicked him with her tongue and it was the first time he's lifted his head all day He loves the snakes and screw science, they love him back

I have an unfortunate update on Shadow
My mum just sent me this text: "At vets. They have taken him for a bit. He has a fever and is infected. The hole is there because the skin is not viable, it is necrotic and so the stitches in that area failed. He is muzzled and they are bathing the wound to see how much tissue is dead. He may need another surgery and I don't know if Shadow can do that."

So in the end vet said no way, he won't survive surgery. He just doesn't have enough skin to cut out that tissue and reclose it. Wednesday morning he goes back... if the infection is just on top, they'll perform surgery then because there is still a chance. If it's deeper, then there isn't anything they can do for it because so much tissue was already removed and he'll have to be put down......... He was the dog that saved my life when I was younger by waking up my parents when I had seizures from low blood sugar and used to wake me up if my sugar was going low, I can't lose him

I'm 3 hours away from my poor pup for work until Friday... I wish I could go home :'( :'( :'(

Poor thing, do you know what the police did about the other dog? I know that isn't important right now.

    My thoughts are with Shadow.
