Press n seal or not

Simple 6qt Sterlite non-locking tubs. I have condensation on the sides of all 5 of my tubs. 88.5F and I am seeing 90% humidity inside one unused tub..... kinda hard to believe that number when there is condensation on the sides?? I candle every Sunday and I have seen movement inside all eggs of both my clutches for the last few weeks. Gotta figure they rarely hit 90% in nature or even with maternal incubation, so I think I am good.

I use the same tubs as corey, no press n seal. I have never had problems. Some eggs will dimple a little early on during incubation and some dont dimple at all before they hatch. There is no textbook approach. Post some pics hard to help without seeing what you see.

I use press and seal all the time, the tubs i use don't have clear lids and some don't seal so tight. I also use vermiculite. Lots of ways to get it done and most folks stick to what has worked for them in the past.

Its not bad just slight but I just put press n seal on the tub Im Just worried because with so much water I don't want condensation to drip on them and if I tilt it water might get on them

Just check them every 7-10 days and wipe off any excess water..

I also use this method never had a problem, just check it every week or 2, to open it to exchange air and wipe off any excess condensation..

I use press and seal.

Don't be so nervous.. chill.... Keep the temps correct and the humidity up. They'll do the rest all on their own

I added press n seal and elevated one side slightly and checked temps looks good now I'm gonna pop a cold bud lite and leave them alone and wait for the next two clutches and do them the same and next season I'll be an old hand at this Lol

I use it, keeps the humidity up. if you have a problem with condensation. it's because of a difference in temps. outside of the tub to the inside of the tub.
your incubator is what controls your temps
your egg boxes is what controls your humidity.
I can check my eggs every day if I wanted to and the eggs would stay inflated. if you're afraid of opening the egg boxes cause you will lose your humidity, then you have a problem.
if you do get condensation on the lid or press n seal. wipe it with a paper towel. the eggs can get wet and be ok. it's being constantly wet what's bad for them. if you don't open the boxes to check on them, then how will you know if you have a problem?
