    Show me your Duremils!

I already have a Ball Python and a Red Tail Boa, I've had these guys for several years and am looking to finally add another to my collection.

I'm looking specifically at a Duremil's Boa, so if you own a Duremils, please show me pictures and tell me how his or her temperament is! Also, if you know of any good breeders, I'm open to suggestions.

    Show me your Duremils!

Mine is still young and was a very picky eater at first. Took 2 months or so before she settled in and started really feeding on a schedule.

A very laid back snake. If you are thinking about getting one, do it!
    I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I picked my up at a local expo.

I love my dumerils! Very picky eater at first but once she settled in she's an eating machine now. Her she is! She's just over 700 grams and I'd say around 3 feet.
These pictures do her colors no justice

    These are awesome awesome snakes.

    Red face

I also got my baby girl at our local expo. I don't know of a breeder other than Moonlight Boas - but I have heard that they are very good.

Dums can be fairly picky at first, but generally they come around as they grow up a wee bit. Mine didn't eat with me for the first month I had her! But she never misses a meal now, even in shed.

These are very underrated snakes and are really great to work with. I highly recommend them as a first boa and even for folks with a lot of boa experience. They are truly a joy to have around!

Thanks!! She's actually much more red/pink in person. I prize the high pink lines and the rosette patterns. Now to find a male as good as her.....

How often do they pee? Are they like BCI in pooping and peeing?
