Oppressive laws very rarely keep everyone from doing something. The only way interstate transport of species under the Lacey Act is going to come to a complete halt is if the feds dedicate huge amounts of resources to enforcement. Transport may slow down, but I'll be surprised if it gets to a point where inbreeding damages any particular breeder's population. It'll be dangerous, and I wouldn't be willing to risk it, but for sure some will.

I don't know guys, I didn't see any hatchling for sale at any shows last year, and none so for this year. I've been sorta on the lookout for a hatchling albino female. the only things I see for sale are the odd young males and an occasional female. I mean lets say a single female produces 40 hatchlings. Can you garantee the will all sell? What the heck do you do with the last ten or fifteen that don't? I don't think it's just the big breeders that are getting away from them.
Edit: To the op, yes she is a beauty.

Where are we going, and why am I in this handbasket?
Never argue with idiots. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with their experience.
Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.
