Another thing to consider is when they ARE ready to be shipped, it's already 90* here in Texas. He may not ship until it cools off which won't be until end of September if you're lucky. Temps usually cool off in October.
I'm in a similar boat. Anna (Annarose15) hatched out a clutch earlier this month and I have a deposit down on a female that's not eaten yet. Whenever she's ready to be shipped, I may not actually get her until this fall due to temperatures alone.
I didn't think of that. I don't mind waiting as long as it takes.
Just wanted to let you know! I know I wanted my bee the day I saw her "out of egg picture". I even wanted her before I knew she was female! So I completely understand wanting your new addition and it will be hard for me to wait to get her because of temps! However, I'd rather her be shipped in safe conditions.
Yep I want her safety shipped. I had a 700 gram black pastel on a payment plan for 2 months until I saw the breeder at an expo. Waiting won't be a problem for me.
