Two kings one bucket
Sorry for the imagery the title might conjure up.
Anyway, I'm wondering if there's any reason I shouldn't use 1 reservoir for two mistkings systems.
I'd just string along other nozzles and make it one system, but I'd rather be able to control the humidity of the two enclosures separately for differently timed sheddings, etc.
It seems to me like it should be fine as long as I keep the bucket full, as it's a big 5g bucket and there shouldn't be a ton of use going on.

Anybody?
My one real concern would be a suction problem if both systems turn on at once.

I'm surprised nobody's tried this/knows about it. Is it OK for me to bump this daily? Mods please let me know if a 24 hour bump isn't cool.

If you only have two snakes, I'd just mist by hand. Very few people use misting systems (or they just don't say they do). I like to physically mist my tubs by hand so that I'm getting a feel for the amount of humidity that is in the tub, instead of letting a machine take care of my snakes. I usually only have to mist each snake about twice a month before they shed... I also sometimes just move the water bowl to the warm side and evaporation does the trick.

I've got a pretty solid handling regimen to acclimate them to me, and as far as pet husbandry goes I generally automate whatever I can. I know it's accurate and there if I'm not. So I've got the whole mistkings/herpstat combo going on. I work in IT and as we say, "a lazy sysadmin is a good sysadmin."

In case anybody else wants to know, I got a response from mistkings and they said it was fine to do.
