Advice needed on caring for snakes

Hi,
I have been asked to look after a sick guys animals, mums got the dog, i can do the parrots, but have no clue what to do with three snakes?
Not even sure what snakes they are, have posted pics of 2 of them, the other was in hiding.
The owner went into hospital on thursday, i went in on saturday, and they had run out of water. I have topped up the water, but dont know how often they feed, etc..

Can anyone give me some advice?
The red one is about 2.5 feet long, and the other is over 3 feet.
how do i know when they need feeding?

Can you not talk to the owner? That is who you really need to ask.

These are some of the things I would ask.

Next feeding day?
Interval between feedings?
Size of feeders?
Rats or mice?
Live, frozen thawed(f/t), freshly killed?
How he thaws them if f/t are used?
How he presents the prey? Tongs and zombie dance, lay inside, etc.
Do they have any quirks that you should know about?

None of us will be able to tell you this here. I can tell you that most snakes are fed weekly or biweekly, however some ball pythons can be picky and choose their own schedule.

the one in the first picture is a corn snake. the snake in the last two is a ball python. feed both of them once a week either mice or rats about the size of the thickest part of their body and they should be fine. don't know much about corns, but even if the ball doesn't eat, judging from the size of the picture, they can go months without eating and do just fine.

Thanks for your advice, I since found out that they were fed last thursday by the owner who will be coming home tomorrow, so i won't need to feed them for him.
Unfortunately i couldn't speak to the owner before now as he was too sick at the time.

I have just found another snake in his bedroom, think its a green vine snake. It had no water only, so i filled it up.
thank god he's coming back tomorrow!

That's a Green Tree Python.

That is a green tree python. If you ever see a snake coiled on a perch like that be very cautious around it. Many of them can very be defensive and strike. The bite doesn't really hurt but they do have good sized needle like teeth that will draw blood.

I would get him to teach you about the collection in the event you are ever in this position again.
