    Smile What Should I Get?

Hey everybody, a friend of my dads just gave us a 10 gallon glass enclosure and a few small accessories for it. It has a screen top with a lock on it.

    Here it is:

I'm interested in getting another small animal that could live in a 10 gallon. At least for a year or two. I'd prefer an animal that could live in a 10 gallon its whole life, but one that would eventually need an upgrade would be fine as well. I'll take any reptile or amphibian! I need some suggestions! What do you guys think?

Leopard geckos are fun! And a ten-gal is suitable for a baby, I think, although someone should correct me if I'm wrong. Mine lived in 15s when I had them with few issues.

Well what kind of snakes do you like? They have a range from boa's to pythons, then corn snakes, king snakes, colubrid and so on. Do you want something you'll see, or something you won't see a lot. What is your price that you're looking to spend on a snake, also you're going to need to get rid of a few things and get some stuff if you're going to do a snake.

A smaller crested gecko would be fine with that, but I'd do at least a 20 gallon tall for a single adult.

I was considering maybe dart frogs. I just got a new BP so I'm not sure if I want another snake at the moment. Most likely a lizard of some sort.

Dart frogs would work, but I think they need a bit taller enclosure, and their substrate requirements are really complicated (they do the best with live plants of some sort in their setup). I looked into them for a while, but they seemed pretty complicated.

from my experience with a 10 gallon tank, I would not recommend 10 gal tanks for BPs. There just isn't enough room for 2 hides and a water bowl unless you get a brand new hatchling size, and even then it's a tight squeeze.
