Lethbridge is in Alberta roughly an hour from the Montana border. Seattle would be a good 9 or 10 hour drive I would think. Even if I were to go pick it up, fuel prices, as well as customs/duties at the border, I would still get hit pretty hard on the money aspect. Does not make much sense when Calgary (where Greg lives) is only a 2 hour driveCanadian border puts duties on all merchandise from the States when you bring it across the border. Although, I think if I were to stay in the US for 48 hours, I could bring ~$700 of merchandise across duty free. Just a cash grab so that we are more apt to purchase merchandise produced in Canada, or that has already been imported.
To give you some perspective, I ordered a set of aftermarket wheels for my car from California last summer. The list on them was $899 for all four. By the time they got to my front door, the price tag had jumped to $1350. All that extra was shipping and duties.
I have found a couple other websites for vivarium/terrarium builders in Canada, but mostly in the East, and I would be looking at shipping charges yet again.
