Exactly. When we have new snakes due we PAM the tank and hides the day prior to their arrival, and treat the snake with Reptile Relief immediately once its here. We got hit hard a while back, never again!

I also keep a can of PAM and bottle of Reptile Relief on hand. I also keep a bottle of betadine and F10 on hand. I think it's just good practice to have those on hand.

Reptile Relief is now Reptile Spray. It can be used on everything.

When I got my free mites with a order of snakes I cleaned the tubs, hides, bowls, floor, EVERYTHING including the snakes with Reptile Spray. I know everybody loves PAM but Reptile Spray really was great. Plus I have seen it at both big box pet stores which makes it super easy to get in a pinch.

I did one treatment and the only mites from then on that I found were dead. The snakes are great.

We aren't saying the spray is bad...just that if you use it WITH the PAM...it's like a recipe for a cure. It could be that only the spray is needed to cure a minor problem. But if you use the spray and PAM, then you've really killed the problem. I'd rather use both and know without question that the mites are gone rather than just use one or the other. Just my opinion though.

I'll ask again. Did you spray your snake with the Provent a mite or just the enclosure??
