I would go with number 1 or the last one. The reason is the background that you will be using. My original logo was really cool by itself, but when I put it on different things (like business cards, banners, shirts) it didn't pop. So, I had it redone so that it went well on different backgrounds and was easy to read. Given that, the first one puts color in the snake, so it would go well with most backgrounds (the middle ones would not look good on a white background because the snake would be washed out) and the last one would do well on anything except white, but even white would be fine because it is all b & w. That is my 2 cents. What is really important is what YOU like.
