I am so jealous of you. There is no where around here to hike like that. Missouri doesn't have much in the way of hills and mountains. Although I have been climbing in the foothills of the Ozarks when I was a child.

That's beautiful, I'd love to go there. Not much in the way of mountains here in MN, a few small hills is about all we've got.

Doolittle - have you ever been to the Hoh rain forest? I believe it's up by Forks, but I could be wrong. I've been trying to get up there for two years now but the schedule never allows for it.
I don't think Washington gets enough attention! Where else can you see mountains, desert, a freaking RAIN FOREST, and the dang ocean without even leaving the state??

4 mountain ranges in fact! Yes Washington is the shizz! Dont forget the Puget Sound, Hood Canal, Columbia River and the hundreds of rivers and lakes everywhere else! Am I forgetting anything? The perfect place for folks who love the great outdoors! Oh yeah and it doesnt rain as much as everyone thinks!

EDIT: I did forget something: The SEAHAWKS! Lol!!!
