Came home to eggs!

That's certainly a nice thing to come home to no matter how good or bad your day has been. Have you weighed those 2 good eggs because they look huge!

Would you believe in my excitement with this clutch, I forgot to weigh them. They are big though, so I'll be sure to post weights of the worms when they hatch :o

two eggs is better than no eggs. Hope you hit on the silver streak.
Too bad about the slugs. I usually just drop those in my snapping turtles tub so at least someone is happy.

The slugs are not touching the good eggs. Just to be sure, going to candle again in a few days, if no veins, I'll discard them.

Hey, I hit the odds one year breeding a het albino to a het albino, and got the exact same thing you did...2 eggs, 2 slugs. I REALLY wanted an albino boy. I calculated the chances of getting a male albino in one of those eggs...I think it was something like 13%! I bet theres a silver streak developing in one of those eggs right now! Thanks, I'm hoping one is a silver streak myself. Even if I don't hit on one, just two healthy worms makes it a successful clutch in my eyes.

Put the slugs in too even though they didn't candle and will remove if they go bad.

That is the longest damn egg i have ever seen lol.
