    People use the pink one as a base for custom vivarium backgrounds. If you want to get fancy, carve it into rock shapes, paint over it (takes about 3 coats), then use acrylic paints thinned with water for adding depth and texture. Normally attached to the walls with black aquarium grade silicon (MUST be aquarium grade!) which will also give you the blackout that you're looking for.
