Day 31 and still waiting on eggs!

I am gonna guess that she will drop on day 37. It was day 35 when I finally got tired of anticipating the arrival of my girls eggs and stopped losing sleep over it (believe me I was so excited it was hard to sleep!). She dropped on day 37 so that's my guess.

Approximately 1 day before she ends up laying just fine


Hopefully someone can speak to this but there was a thread the other day where someone said they waited over 50 days after pre-lay shed for eggs.

Try not to worry. Some or them will hold out to day 40...even 60!

If there is an egg right at her vent and it doesn't come out within 24 hours then I might start to get worried.

Day 36 and no eggs this morning. She was doing more egg adjustment last night though!!

You know, from the timing of my female's ovulation if she went on schedule I'd have 21 days to pre-lay shed and 30 to eggs, which lands EXACTLY during a 3 day vacation I'm taking.


This thread might be stressing you guys out, but it's soothing my fears.

MrLang- my girl had her Pre lay shed almost exactly 14 days after ovy!

Do people count pre-lay shed as when they get pink and start the process or when they actually slough the skin off?
