    Question Incubator Builds?

Where can I find incubator designs? I fully intend to breed some day when my bps are big enough. I can only find very small incubators online. I don't heat my entire snake room which does concern me a little bit.

If anyone has any incubator designs they would like to share please post them here. I really want to get an idea of all the possible build options out there. I haven't been on these forums for very long, but one thing I have learned is this is the right place to look for help. Lots of creative and handy people around here

Here is my DIY incubator. It will hold 2 clutches.

I got it off a classifieds site.

First I removed the cooling system and all the tubing for it.

On the bottom of the cooler there was a hole for a hose and it actually fit all my wiring so I did not have to drill any holes.

Then I installed flexwatt and lighting and fan and water bottles.

Mines a "PIMP YO INCUBATOR" LOL But there are some things I did differently after taking these pictures.

I took out some of the water bottles since I had too many.

I moved the fan to the top rear of the incubator.

The lights I only turn on when I look into it because they produce a lot of heat.

The fan has a built in speed control and its USB powered so I use a USB wall adapter.

It fits 2 tubs because I only plan on having 2 clutches this year.

Total cost was about $150. Total time about 1 1/2 hours.

    I think thats about it.

This is our smaller incubator, it's a redbull true cooler.

It has 2 strips of 3 inch heat tape against the back wall running vertical.
A false wall placed about an inch and a half from the back wall.
A bathroom ceiling fan plugged into a rheostat to control airflow.
A smaller fan would work, but I love the ability to fine tune the airflow.
The fan sucks air from the top downwards over the tubs and pushes it through a hole in the bottom of the wall, over the heat tape and up to the top where it is blown out into the inc to repeat the cycle.
The probe for the herpstat is put through the top and it is hanging in front of the heat tape behind the wall, SUPER STABLE.
We did this same build with our larger incubator using 11x12 inch heat tape.

Ceiling fan, not recommended for any incs smaller than this one, they create heat ...

Top hole where heated air comes out, and where the thermostat probe is.
