Male or Female Clown?

so you're saying getting a male clown would be better? alot of people seem to be saying forking over the extra bucks for female will save me alot of time. also pastel-lesser het clown might be more expensive as female?

what will be easier and cheaper? To get 3 visible female clowns and a 100% het clown male, or to get a visible male and 3 females that are 100% het clown? In both cases, if they breed, the eggs will be the same. No difference. But you see, the investment on the male is tripled if you can breed it to 3 females. Genetically it makes no difference, but practically and economically it does.

If you can get a female clown at a reasonable price, i dont want to discourage you, get it if it appeals to you. Also it rises your odds to make clowns if you really manage to get nice female clowns. Breeding clown to clown for a clutch of 100% clowns is always awesome.

But for now, i say, you are asking female clown versus male clown, and if the male clown is cheaper or the same price.... get the male clown and then female 100% hets.
