I have a borneo girl and she is a sweetheart! She is so super wiggly though, it can be hard to photograph her.
I might eventually get her a boyfriend, but that is a few years down the road
They are very cool snakes and their personality is much different than ball pythons, which is a nice change of pace

You should go for it!
They are unique, sweet, and you can stare at them all day and never get tired of 'em.....

I have a 4'X2' Boaphile cage setup at home collecting dust, so the Blood would go in it. I will have to see if there any Ivories at NARBC Anaheim this fall. Preferably a male I think.

Ha, I also considered a Chrome head male so I could name him Destro.

Re: Thinking about getting a Blood
Man, how the begeebers did I ever get involved in this?!?! First a Normal BP, then I saw the morphs and just had to get a spider. I have a hypo BCI paid for just waiting for good shipping weather. Now I am really attracted to these bloods. Does the madness EVER stop?
My wife is gonna give me a new place to live pretty soon...

I got a juvenile blood python recently, after years of keeping and breeding BPs. I have never had her refuse a meal yet; she is a little mouse-destroying machine
One thing that you'll notice that is different than BPs, is the way that they move. None of the balling-up habit that BPs have. It is a different sort of handling with the blood, I have found; she is more active and inquisitive. I personally went to a local shop/breeder to get mine, since I was told that their temperaments differ from BPs. I handled 8 babies; out of all of them, the girl I took home was most docile. I specifically got her as a pet snake though, with no breeding intentions down the road, so temperament was more important to me.. but she is a pretty ghost stripe (and knowing me, I will want to breed her/them in the future; lol.)
The only pic of my girl was months ago when I just had gotten her. She's fattened up and shed once since then, and these are stunning snakes, in my opinion.
