    The "Washout Gene"..?

    "Fader" is not a gene either, no more than washout. It's a polygenic trait, and their is absolutely no evidence to suggest that it segregates in a Mendelian fashion like all other ball python morphs. It's funny that morph king gets run over the coals (which they absolutely should) while everything from NERD is believed implicitly despite the many incorrect "theories" that have cost people thousands over the years ("hidden gene" woma, "hidden gene" lesser, the whole lucifer isn't vanilla despite not doing the required breedings to prove it, the pcp champagne line that is nothing more than pastel champagnes, etc).
