Ah you caught the one thing I forgot to mention! I'm likely replacing with light diffuser unless I find something better. I too, worried about tubs tipping..

Maybe some of the standard coated metal closet shelving? And then just use a grinder with a cutting disc to cut it to the right length.
Probably more sturdy the light diffuser, but still open for proper airflow.
