Checking in from Lawrence, KS
Hey all,
My name is Matt and I have been a long time creeping around the forums for some time and have decided to try and become more active on here.
Just a little about myself, I am a student at the University of Kansas and am studying Evolutionary Biology. I got into keeping snakes just a couple of years ago, but have been doing some native herping for a while.
Within the last year I have grown interested in breeding ball pythons potentially other reptiles as hobby. So far in my BP collection I have a lesser male and a pinstripe male. Besides those two I have about 8 breeding size females, two of which are on the road to recovery from poor husbandry induced illness compliments of a now ex-business partner(Dudes a bro for life, but didn't know how to say he wasn't interested anymore). On the side I also have an albino burm, tiger retic, a boa constrictor, and a cornsnake that frankly I don't want lol.
Looking forward to contributing in the future and getting to know everyone.
Cheers,
B

ROCK CHALK!! You watchin' the game tonight, right? I have a BS in EEB from KU and loved, and still miss, every minute that I spent there! I did some work with the population of Crotalus horridus that was introduced to Kill Creek Park while there, as well as a population survey of the snake species present at Ft. Leavenworth. I'm sure that George Pisani, the individual that I did all of my research for, would love to take on a younger herper studying EEB such as yourself. Look him up on the KU website! I am now active duty Army stationed at Ft. Carson, CO. My collection is in my sig. ROCK CHALK!

Re: Checking in from Lawrence, KS
Glad to see another jayhawk around. That game was to close for me, but I am excited to play Roy boy now. I'm doing some work at the biodiversity institute and may get to do some field surveys this fall.

Cool stuff man, glad you're doing some real work outside of the classroom. I know that I love the research that I did!
Yes, the game was too close for me as well. I would love to put "he who shall not be named" down yet again in the tourney, however I am definitely a good bit worried about how the game will go. I guess by tomorrow night we'll know if we're playing in the Sweet 16 or not.
