    My roo, I really need to get out and take a few more. Hopefully I'll be getting some chicks in a couple weeks.

    Oh and I know this isn't a chicken but guess what else I got!

    I'll notice a chicken in the backyard. My mom had a chicken when she was young. Her mother killed it and cook it in chicken soup and feed it to my mom. My mom was devastated from that she never let us have chickens. And I guess my mind set is still like that. I don't mind a chicken. They are cute. I just don't want to wake up and find our pet chicken kill and served to me I guess.
