My husband & I have a hobby breeding collection of ball pythons. We have a lovely butter female that should be ready for her first breeding season next year. We've been debating back & forth about who to pair her to & in the process of deciding a question has come up. My husband has always wanted to produce a blue eyed lucy, cool beans... I'm on that. Well a breeder at a show mentioned that butter to butter breedings can be lethal. Thats news to us.... buuutttt.... we would like the reassurance of other breeders who have worked with butters. Neither of us has Ever heard from Anyone else that the "super butter" has any problems, just this one guy.
