Haha! I know she has something planned because thats how she plans her grocery shopping. She will write out a list of meals she wants and plan out what day to have it and then go and do the shopping. I asked her what she had planned for tonight and got an answer I liked. Steak fajitas! Nom nom nom! And some quality gourmet rats for the snakes!

Another thing that peeves me is when a rat gets out and I am chasing it back and forth from one side of the rack (running back and forth underneath the rack) to the other for 20 minutes before I am able to corner it and snatch it up. Drives me crazy!

I feel the same when I get one of those soft squishy handshakes. I actually wipe my hand on my pants like it was contaminated after shaking someones loose gripped handshake....

Some days I feel the art of the business handshake is lost. This makes me sad.

High fives are fine, its like the 5 second rule: our hands aren't touching long enough for their germs to crawl over onto my hand.

Ugh yea, those are the worst, or sweaty/ clammy handed ones. I always make sure I shake firmly, not like I'm trying to crush their hand, but firmly. Limp handshakes are like announcing that you're a wussyface.

Re: Your strangest quirk / pet peeve

One quirk...I say sorry a lot. So much that it's affecting how I come off in the workplace.

Pet peeve? It's one thing if someone always tries to one up you. But it is so annoying when someone always tries to one down you.

Me: Oh man. Today's commute was bad. A passenger got sick on the subway so we were stuck for an extra 15 minutes.
Guy: Yeah thats still not as bad as my 2 hour commute one way.

SAME guy: Man this long distance relationship is killing me.
Me: It's tough but it's worth it. My boyfriend and I were long distance when I was in Boston for 5 years.
Guy: Yeah but my girlfriend is farther. I only see her every few months
Me: Uh... my brother and sister and law were super long distance. Philippines and US. You can do it dude. You can make it work. They saw each other once or twice a year.
Guy: How long did he go for?
Me: A month at time maybe?
Guy: Yeah it's not as bad as me. I only see my girlfriend for a few days at a time.

THE SAME GUY: What's the matter you seem down today?
Me: Ehh. Not good news. My sister is not doing well.
    Guy: You can tell me.
Me: Idk. Just worried about her. They found a mass... haven't received biopsy results yet.
Guy: Oh I'm so sorry. I know how you feel. My dad died of stage 4 cancer... last year.
    Me: *about to cry hysterically*

    ---edit---
Sorry guys I just realized this became a massive rant.

Thanks. She is doing great actually. Her biopsy results came back benign.

I just wanted to complain about that guy and used that conversation to convey the idea. XD
