WOW, she is just huge.... the reason I ask is bc I have a big girl '3000g' that I think has ovyed (my first year, so I'm somewhat clueless on this building/ovy stuff) but I can't truly tell... all I know is that she had gradually gotten bigger and bigger, glowing, and now she's deflated only slightly and isn't trying to wrap or soak in her water bowl anymore. Thought maybe I could compare pics I don't know if she ovyed or if she reabsorbed....
I know most people seem to look for the ovys, but I don't try to catch them. I pay more attention to sheds, if they are eating, and body shape. If they haven't been eating and they shed, I start to watch their behavior to see if they look like they are going to lay. Their bellies also get very round across the belly scales, rather than flat, when you hold them in the air with about 2/3 of their body hanging down (this begins prior to the ovy, just gets more pronounced after the ovy).

    Hope this helps,

    John

Thank you yes, she definitely has a rounded belly if you hold her up. She has been off feed for over a month. I guess we'll wait and see if she sheds! Thanks for the tips! I'm very excited to see what happens with her!

Lol! She acted exhausted as well. Didn't even try to bite me this time.

    Thanks,
