Wait another week and try again. Some snakes need time to settle in. Don't offer food everyday if they're not eating. That can just freak them out. Are you keeping them in cages or in a rack? Can you describe your setup? How are you temps and humidity?

^ Good questions. Also, are you moving them to separate enclosures to feed? What size rodent are you feeding and what do the snakes weigh? Do you have multiple snug hides in the cages?

Sorry OP, just reread and realized they are breeder-sized. Do you know if they were eating when you got them? I have quite a few that are off feed just due to the time of the year. Weigh them with a digital gram scale so you can track whether they begin to lose any.

It really is amazing how many variables there are when it comes to reptile keeping. I guess that's why it's so rewarding when you know you have healthy animals.

Ok they are in a homemade rack system temps are in the 80s in the day and low 70s at night i kinda keep the humidity high due to them still being new to the area read somewhere it helps with the calming no hides they seem to have made their own hiding under newspaper or flipping the water bowl when i put one in they flip it. they were feeding on med/small rats live. female is at 1250 grams and other two males are hovering around 900

Is the female the one that ate and the boys refused? That might be entirely the season. My breeder size boy is only interested in one thing right now, and it's definitely not eating

80 ambient with a hotspot? or just 80?

How and where are you measuring the temps?

I have 80f as the coolest part of the cage and 92f at the hot spot and they don't thrash.

Have you checked out the caresheet on the site yet?

    Re: New to This

yea 80-85 over all temp no hotspot they didnt want it yea i have kept ball pythons before and never encountered this problem. Especially with the feeding. I just recently put one of my males that wasnt eating and acting crazy with a female within 5 mins they were locked up so thats great and exciting lol. I will keep him in there for 3 days thenpull him out wait a few days then try to feed him again.
